Lobos crush Denison, 7-0
FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Little Elm boys soccer team remained perfect in District 17-4A play Tuesday with a 7-0 shutout of Denison at home. Senior forward Karlo Sanchez had a career game, scoring five goals to push his season total to 15. The Lobos are now 13-4-2 overall on the year and alone in first place with a 5-0 mark in district play. They have outscored the competition, 46-13, thanks to varied production from a number of players. Thirteen different players have scored at least one goal and eight have notched multiple scores. Senior Erick De Santiago is second on the team with eight goals, followed by Taylor Klein and Sean Sandoval, both of whom have four. Senior Matt Utt is the leading assist man (11).
The Lobos will begin the second half of district play Friday against Sherman, which they beat 2-0 the first time. Four of the final five games are on the road.
