Quick look: The three district favorites-Poteet, West Mesquite and Highland Park-held serve this week with three convincing victories.
The first of the heavyweight matches between that group occurs on Thursday when Poteet hosts Highland Park at Mesquite Memorial Stadium.
If those teams can avoid an upset, the 10-4A championship will be decided on who fares better in the head-to-head match-ups.
