Telephone town hall meeting to be held Monday

If you can't make it in person, the city of Frisco's next town hall meeting is just a phone call away. Find out what's happening in Frisco by attending -- or listening to -- the town hall meeting to be held Monday, Oct. 15m at 7 p.m.

Frisco residents should dial 888-409-5380 to join the town hall meeting. Frisco's registered voters will also receive a phone call Monday night inviting them to join the meeting.

Residents are always welcome to attend in person as well. The meeting will be held in the council chambers of City Hall at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.

City staff will brief residents on how to determine Election Day polling locations, road construction and improvement projects, the status of the Exide plant closure and the Frisco Public Library's newest tool to bring provide services at your fingertips.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions in person or by phone. The Q&A portion of the meeting will follow staff presentations.

A variety of Frisco-branded items will be available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis who attend the meeting in person. These items are limited to one per person.

Town hall meetings last approximately two hours and are typically held three times each year.
