DRUMMOND

Charles F. Drummond of Lewisville, Texas, died October 8, 2012 in Lewisville.
Born on March 6, 1929 in Cassadaga, NY, Mr. Drummond was the son of the late Charles O. and Esther Drummond.
He was a 1947 graduate of Fredonia, NY High School where he lived for 60 years before moving to Texas in 1993.
Mr. Drummond was employed by the Evening Observer in Dunkirk, NY for 45 years, the last 12 years as Graphics Manager. He was a member of the Fredonia, NY Fire Department for 27 years.
Charles was a veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.
He was a life member of both American Legion Post 62 in Dunkirk, NY and VFW Post 9168 in Lewisville, TX.
He is survived by his wife, of 62 years, Gail L. Drummond of Lewisville, TX; two daughters, Keely Gorrill of Lantana, TX and Julie Blackstad, of Flower Mound, TX; and two granddaughters, Leilani and Callie Blackstad of Flower Mound, TX.
Mr. Drummond was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Laucks of Cassadaga, NY and a brother, Robert Drummond of Fredonia, NY.
A private memorial service was held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home prior to the interment at Old Hall Cemetery.
