Oleva Lanell Haggard, age 88, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 16, 2012.
She was born July 21, 1924 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Rufus Fletcher and Delphia Harrington Fletcher.On October 27, 1943 she married Carl Haggard in Gulfport, Mississippi.
She is survived by her son, Howard R. Haggard and wife, T.C. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kevin Haggard, Howard Haggard, Mark Funderburk and Lanell Funderburk; great-grandchildren, Charissa Haggard, Tiffany Haggard, Justin Haggard, Cejay Haggard and Nikki Funderburk; sisters, Oleta Pepper of Houston, Texas and Ruby Hassenpflug of Friona, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Delphia Fletcher; husband, Carl Haggard; daughter, Camellia Funderburk; brothers, Alvin Fletcher and Raymond Fletcher; sister, Pauline Hassenpflug.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday from 4-6 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
