Collin Creek Mall invites kids for Saturday fun on October 27

Published: Friday, November 2, 2012 3:10 PM CDT
On Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Collin Creek Mall invites children and their parents to stop by for fun and games at October Kids Fest. The four-hour, family-focused event features a host of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

A highlight of the afternoon will be craft stations, where kids can stop and make fall-themed items to take home and enjoy*. At one table, kids can make a festive jack-o-lantern with paper supplies. At another table, kids can adorn leaves with bright jewels. Guests can also craft a necklace and decorate it with Halloween items. Plus, there’s a table where children can make a bag to use for all their crafts.

The afternoon will feature other activities, too including face painting and balloon animals. Plus, while supplies last, each guest will receive a goodie bag to take home. There’s a prize wheel to spin and win, too.

Collin Creek Mall will also host a special photo area, where guests can try on Halloween accessories and snap photos to commemorate the day. Everyone is reminded to bring his or her cameras to take advantage of this unique photo opportunity.

In the spirit of sharing, guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy that will be donated to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, an area nonprofit that provides safety, healing and justice to children victimized by abuse or neglect.

October Kids Fest is presented compliments of Collin Creek Mall. The event will be held in Center Court.

Collin Creek Mall features over 130 specialty shops and eateries including Macy’s, Dillard’s, jcpenney and Sears. The shopping center is conveniently located at US 75 Central Expressway & 190 Bush Turnpike. For directions, visit www.collincreekmall.com <http://www.collincreekmall.com>  or call 972.442.1070.
