HIGHTOWER
Mr. Paul Ray Hightower of Farmersville passed away at his residence November 6, 2012.
He was born November 4, 1939, in Farmersville, the son of Pastil H. and Martha E. Stanford Hightower. He married Barbara Mathews July 19, 1963, in Plano, Texas.
Paul was employed by the City of Farmersville for many years before he became employed by the Copeville Water District, where he served in the capacity of Water Superintendent.
Paul was a member of the Farmersville Church of Christ and is survived by his wife; Barbara, of Farmersville and sons; Gary Robert Hightower of Farmersville and Jeffrey Paul Hightower of Lavon, and Kelly Zambo. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Hope Anne Hightower and Lincoln Paul Hightower. Paul is also survived by his sister, Catherine Vest of Brownsboro, Texas, and brother, Hubert Hightower of Farmersville, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Chapel in Farmersville with Bro. Clint Brown officiating, and interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hurst's Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville. Condolences may be sent to www.hurstfielderbaker.com.
