Little Elm senior running back Keaun Kinner

After dropping a 57-20 contest to Frisco two weeks ago, the Lobos were in desperate need of a district win during Friday night’s game against Frisco Heritage.

Little Elm senior running back Keaun Kinner gave the Lobos that victory after running for 339 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries to improve Little Elm’s district mark to 2-2.

“He’s one of the best running backs in the state,” said Donald Stowers, Little Elm head coach. “He’s an incredible running back.”

Kinner broke free for a pair of long touchdown runs during the second quarter from 61 and 72 yards away before adding a 3-yard score in the third and a 1-yard scamper in the fourth.

The senior running back’s efforts allowed the Lobos to earn a 35-28 victory, setting up a key 9-4A battle at Prosper tonight.
