MALVEIRA
Francis "Sonny" Malveira of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 29, 2012, at the age of 84.
He was born October 2, 1928, to Joseph Malveira and Alzira in Woburn, Massachusetts.
He married Nancy Hughes on December 31, 1960, in Revere, Massachusetts.
Francis served as a Merchant Marine for 30 years and was Deputy Sheriff for 10 years with the Suffolk County Sheriff Department. He owned and operated Laurie Gail Inc. Printing Company in Massachusetts before moving to McKinney and residing for the past 20 years.
Francis is survived by his wife Nancy Malveira of McKinney, Texas; children, David Malveira and wife Margo of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susan G. Malveira McCarthy of Kingston, New Hampshire, Laurie A. Malveira of Denison, Texas; and sister, Mary S. Hughes Malveira of Richardson, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ethel Olympia Mosier, John and twin brother Joseph Malveria and Dorothy Malveira Terrell.
A memorial service was held December 1, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Rev. James Short and Rev. Bobby Hash officiating.
