Mary Frances Nave, 70, passed away on January 3, 2013, in Plano, Texas.

She was born on October 24, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to David and Mary Pauline McKinney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Keith Nave of Plano; children, Kimberly Everingham and husband Mark of Missoula, Montana, Lynn Schlemmer of Richardson, Texas, Eric Nave and wife Vicki of Irving, Texas, and Mary Elizabeth Scott and husband Mike of League City, Texas; brother, David C. McKinney and wife Duffy of Oxford, Miss.; and grandchildren, Carmen, Curtis and Claire Everingham, Andrew, Darin and Alec Schlemmer, Devyn Nave and Kaitlynn Scott.

Prior to the onset of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which she valiantly battled for 15 years, Mary enjoyed a beautiful and full life. She was devoted to her family and grandchildren. Her wide range of interests included music, art, horses, hiking, bridge and cooking. Mary had an infectious laugh, smiled often and brightened the lives of those around her. She is now at peace in a better place and leaves us with countless precious memories.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to The Bluefield Project to Cure Frontotemporal Dementia, 1650 Owens St., Room 205, San Francisco, CA 94158, or visit www.bluefieldproject.org.
