Celina man arrested for terroristic threat against elementary school

The Celina police responded to the Celina Elementary School on Wednesday, Jan. 9, after receiving information about a suspicious circumstance that occurred at 7:50 a.m.
School staff stated that Ron Miller, a resident of Celina and a father of a Celina Elementary School student, had entered the office of the school and conducted his own drill to test the school's response to an active shooter situation. Although Miller did not display a weapon, the statements and actions of Miller were aggressive and created panic and fear among the school's staff.
A warrant was issued for Miller's arrest and he was taken into custody at 9:54 p.m. Wednesday. Miller is charged with Terroristic Threat, a felony in the 3rd degree with a bond set at $75,000.

" I bet he knew he'd get in trouble, but he wanted to raise the awareness of the school about how vulnerable they are. I can't imagine any other way to give a school a wake up. I believe he also did it because he, like me cannot let go of the horror that took place at Sandy Hook. I also believe that when he drops his kids off at school he gets a sinking feeling he might never see them again -- also like me. "

Fact: Where is the other side of the story? Why hasn't he come forward yet and made a public appearance? I think he is smarter than we give him credit for. So we are going to buy the MEDIAs story? Heck, it hasnt been accurate yet...So, now we are going to believe it? If so, we have already condemned him. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Seems, like we already found him guilty and now he has to prove he isn't? That's BS. Heck, his OWN CHILD WAS IN THE SCHOOL...HELLO? Something doesn't add up. We need to wait to see what he says.....I think this po-dunk town is confused, therefore the found a fall guy..... Plano ISD and McKinney ISD are putting armed officers in the schools.....about time!
