Frisco teen recognized as Eagle Scout

Brayden Whitaker becomes Eagle Scout
By Terry Whitaker
Brayden Whitaker, son of Terry and Janine Whitaker, was born on April 3, 1996, in Chandler, Arizona. Since he was a young boy, he was always interested in Scouting and making goals for himself. The day after his 16th birthday, Brayden became an Eagle Scout.
He is currently a junior at Wakeland High School. He is working part-time to pay for his car and saving to go on a mission for his church. With the help of many fellow Scouters, Brayden was able to complete his Eagle project, which is a beautiful shade structure that now stands in the Frisco Community Park.
Brayden will be recognized at an Eagle Court of Honor on Jan. 20, 2013, in Frisco, Texas.
