Stars of Frisco honored at annual chamber awards

The Frisco Chamber of Commerce announced its 2012 citizen and business award winners at its 29th Annual Awards Celebration, presented by Brinkmann Ranch and First National Bank Southwest on Jan. 18.
Business awards were given in the categories of small, medium and large business of the year; entrepreneur of the year; community partner of the year; and nonprofit organization of the year. Individual awards were presented to the citizen of the year, silver citizen of the year and "Spirit of Frisco." The Chamber also recognized its ambassador of the year and ambassador team of the year, and chairman's and president's awards recipients.
"Our selection committee had a very tough job; but each member took their duty very seriously," said Tony Felker, president and CEO of the Frisco Chamber. "We are fortunate to be a part of a community comprised of so many deserving and remarkable businesses and citizens. We congratulate all our nominees, finalists and winners."
