Jan. 31 deadline for CoServ Electric scholarship, D.C., youth tour applications

CoServ Electric is accepting applications through Jan. 31 for two of its academic initiatives.
The deadline to submit applications for the youth tour and scholarship is Jan. 31. Links to the application forms can be found below. In addition, details about other CoServ academic initiatives can be found here.

CoServ Electric 2013 W. Tip Hall Jr. Scholarship application (PDF)
The Electric Cooperative Youth Tour is an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to watch the U.S. government in action. Every year, more than 1,500 teenagers from around the country participate in the tour, which is coordinated by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Any high school junior or senior whose permanent residence has an active CoServ Electric account, and their parent or guardian is served by CoServ, is eligible.
In addition, five $2,500 W. Tip Hall Jr. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who intend to pursue their academic careers at colleges in Texas. For complete guidelines and required documents, click here.
