Gwendolyn Ann Pirkey, 67, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 18, 2013.
She was born September 9, 1945, in Weatherford, Texas.Gwendolyn loved kids and her family. She enjoyed traveling. She also loved cooking and entertaining. Gwendolyn was a member of First Baptist Church in McKinney, where she taught Sunday school and children's choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frankie Bradford; brother, Tommy Bradford and her sister, Donna Hilton.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas, with Rev. Randy Morlan officiating.
The family received friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
