Slow filing: Two Rowlett council positions still have no candidates

With four places up for election, so far only two candidates, Place No. 4 incumbent Michael Gallops and Place No. 2 candidate Tammy Dana-Bastian, have filed to run in the May 11 city election. Both candidates have been verified by the city secretary and are scheduled to appear on the ballot.
