Rowlett police remind motorists of importance in obeying speed limits to prevent traffic crashes

According to The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), there were 3,015 lives lost across Texas due to motor vehicle related crashes during 2011. There were also 79,573 serious injuries sustained by individuals as a result of crashes that same year.
