The city of Frisco will be hosting its first town hall meeting of 2013 at 7 p.m. Monday. As with the city's other recent town hall meetings, residents will be able to call in via telephone to listen and ask questions live.

Frisco residents can dial 888-409-5380 to join the town hall meeting. The city's registered voters will also receive a phone call Monday night inviting them to join the meeting.

Residents are welcome to attend in person at City Hall's the council chambers of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. Various city department representatives will staff information stations beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the building's atrium.

At 7 p.m., city staff will brief residents on the proposed use of roundabouts as well as other major road construction and improvement projects, emergency preparedness for storm season, and the latest development trends impacting our community.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions in person or by phone. The question-and-answer portion of the meeting will follow staff presentations.

For those who attend the town hall meetings in person, "I LOVE Frisco" t-shirts will be available (one per person). The second edition t-shirt features phrases from our own residents who responded to the call for answers to the question, "Why do you LOVE Frisco?"

Town hall meetings last approximately two hours and are typically held three times a year.
