| Lydia Belle Carl |
Lydia Belle Carl of McKinney, Texas, passed away on February 14, 2013, at the age of 78.
She was born on June 30, 1934, in Bakersfield, California, to Walter C. and Elsie Jane (Hudkins) Stormont.She received her associates degree in Early Childhood Development at Modesto Junior College, in Modesto, California. Lydia worked for the government in the health and human services department, in both California and Texas, for more than 20 years. She delivered Meals On Wheels in Princeton, Texas, and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, Texas for more than 15 years.
Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elsie Stormont; husband, Milo Carl; children, Lorelei Carl, Marlin Carl and Maynard "Bo" Carl; six brothers; and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church, 1306 N. 6th Street, Princeton, Texas 75407, with Rev. Stan Fike officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the church.
