Plano West had a standout week on the links.

Not only did the Lady Wolves finish first Tuesday at the Ranchview Invitational, their male counterparts matched that placing the next day at the Forney Invitational.

The girls, ranked No. 3 in the state by High School Golf Scoreboard, got things started Tuesday at Tribute with a team round of 337. The first place club consisted of Camille Enright, Megan Thothong, Kaitlyn Fritz, Sara Kim and Ally Jones with Enright (82) and Thothong (83) placing fifth and seventh, respectively, in the individual competition.

The West boys kept the gold medals coming Wednesday at Waterview.

The Wolves shot a team total of 299 thanks to a blistering round of 68 from Marc Johnson. The remainder of the squad was comprised of Trevor Komenda, Jake Terry, Luke Thomas and Bryson Scott.
