11-5A BOYS SOCCER: Rowlett knocks off South Garland to move up in standings

It was not too long ago that Rowlett was in danger of missing the playoffs.
But while the Eagles cannot book their postseason plans just yet, they have made enormous strides in their last two matches.
Just days after toppling district co-leader Sachse, Rowlett took down the other team ahead of them in the standings on Friday with a 3-0 win over South Garland.
With the win, the Eagles improve to 6-3 in 11-5A and nudge a half-game ahead of the Colonels in the district standings.
